This FAIRsharing record describes: The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute developed a set of principles that form the basis for data sharing at and with the Institute. Guidelines for implementing the policy are also provided (in an associated document). The Sanger Institute is completely committed to sharing its data, as well as the resources, materials and publications it produces. Rapid and open data sharing strategically supports the Institute’s mission by enabling research and accelerating translation. The Sanger Institute never shares identifiable information about any of those who participate in its research and has strict measures in place to ensure that the privacy of research participants is protected.
