<p>The expression pattern and levels of eye- and photoreceptor-specific drivers was characterized in <em>Drosophila melanogaster</em>. This dataset contains the original confocal microscopy images for adult eyes (.czi), fluorescence microscopy images for embryo, larvae and pupal heads (.lif), and raw luciferase activity data (.csv file, arbitrary units) used to generate the figures in Escobedo et al. 2021. It also contains the plasmid maps and sequence information for the plasmids used to generate the sRh1-Gal4, mRh1-Gal4, Rh1-QF2, and Rh1-GSGal4 fly lines (corresponding to plasmids listed in Table 1). Please note that this is a very large dataset because of the size of the microscopy files from developmental stages, and this may take some time to download. A summary of the representative images and expression patterns for each driver is presented in the associated Escobedo et al. 2021 publication (see citation for details).</p> <p><strong>File Information:</strong></p> <p>Confocal microscopy images (.czi) and zipped fluorescence microscopy images (.lif) can be opened using ImageJ or similar software.</p> <p>Plasmid maps are provided in Gene Bank format (.gbk) and can be opened using Notepad or similar text editor software.</p> <p>Raw luciferase data is provided as a .csv file.</p>
