Since the media managers are under pressure to make decisions in unpredictable and dynamic markets, strategic thinking is a necessary requisite to this job as a major capability for achieving goals. Therefore, employing people who have this ability to think strategically and out of box as an inimitable resource for media organizations could be a challenge. As stated in the literatures of strategy, there are just handful of tools available to evaluate the strategic thinking skills of managers. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between this skill and personality types of managers, to figure out the possibility of predicting strategic thinking skills from personality traits tests.
