Dataset for BLE-Based Indoor Localization Using Multi-Carrier Phase Difference Ranging and Machine Learning

This dataset contains raw Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) distance measurement log data collected with a Nordic Semiconductor nRF53x platform using a Zephyr OS-based Distance Measurement example. The log was recorded with SEGGER J-Link RTT Viewer V7.88l during an experimental BLE ranging session. The file includes initialization metadata, Bluetooth controller information, and repeated measurement records for three stations labelled “Stotele 1”, “Stotele 2”, and “Stotele 3”. Each measurement record contains IFFT-based, Phase Slope-based, RSSI open-space, and firmware-selected “best” distance estimates, together with the corresponding measurement iteration number. The dataset is intended for raw BLE ranging data parsing, preprocessing, distance-estimation method comparison, outlier detection, and preparation of structured datasets for indoor localization and MCPD-based ranging research. The raw log preserves measurement irregularities and outliers, which should be considered during subsequent data-cleaning and analysis steps.
