Value of credit card transactions in India FY 2019-2028

In financial year 2023, there were over 2.9 billion credit card transactions worth over 14 trillion Indian rupees across India. This value was estimated to rise up to over 58 trillion Indian rupees in financial year 2028 in the country. Whereas, the value of debit card transactions was estimated to reach over ten trillion Indian rupees that year.
