User Study Datasets

This dataset contains raw and processed results from a series of usability and performance evaluations conducted on the Virtual Patient Simulator (VPS) tutor and student platforms. The data were collected across three main strands: (1) student usability tests, including pre- and post-questionnaires on user experience and interface interaction; (2) tutor usability tests, capturing perceptions of system usability, digital tool familiarity, and teaching alignment; and (3) student performance tests, comprising pre- and post-assessment scores from controlled learning experiments comparing VPS against traditional instruction. Altogether, the dataset provides quantitative measures (e.g., Likert-scale responses, test scores) and qualitative feedback (e.g., reported difficulties and suggestions for improvement), enabling replication of reported analyses and secondary research on educational technology usability and effectiveness.
