LiDAR data is remotely sensed high-resolution elevation data collected by an airborne collection platform. Using a combination of laser rangefinding, GPS positioning and inertial measurement technologies; LiDAR instruments are able to make highly detailed Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) of the earth's terrain, man-made structures and vegetation.激光雷达（LiDAR）数据是由机载采集平台采集的遥感高分辨率高程数据。激光雷达设备融合激光测距、全球定位系统（GPS）与惯性测量技术，可构建精度极高的地球地形、人工构筑物及植被的数字高程模型（Digital Elevation Models, DEMs）。
