This dataset contains Meteosat SEVIRI rapid scanning satellite imagery from EUMETSAT. These images have been processed via low-pass filtering and downsampling to match the resolution of sky images. Additionally, valid cloud albedo maps are utilized to estimate surface solar irradiance based on the physical properties of clouds. All images are resized to a resolution of 128×128 pixels. This task is designed for intra-hour solar energy forecasting.
