“Users 2017” survey on Geographical Data Infrastructures in France

Data set from a survey carried out in 2017 on French Geographical Data Infrastructures (GDI) as part of the GEOBS research project. DGIs are web-based platforms for sharing institutional geographic data. This project is coordinated by the CNRS (PASAGES laboratory in Bordeaux and LETG in Brest) in association with the laboratories PRODIG (Paris), LaBRI (Bordeaux) and MICA (Bordeaux). It aims to analyse the governance, content and uses of French IDGs. The data from this research is disseminated throughout the project and supplemented by reports, publications and visualisations available online. This dataset makes it possible to establish an inventory of the uses of the IDGs based on an online survey carried out in January and April 2017 and which resulted in 315 complete responses.
