This dataset is cleaned, processed and aggregated through systematic data entry. It aggregates monthly export values categorized by region, industry and destination country in cross-border trade. The variance of the monthly export values for each region is calculated to evaluate its export performance, which can be used to assess the production and export strategies of enterprises operating in that region. All enterprises in the relevant industry can leverage historical data to identify the off-peak and peak seasons of their industry in the destination country, so as to balance their production and export volumes.

The specific steps are as follows:
Step 1: Calculate the monthly export values by destination country for each year in cross-border trade, with the unit being ten thousand RMB. Denote these monthly values as x₁, x₂, …, x₁₂ in sequence (January export value = x₁, February = x₂, and so forth), and aggregate them to obtain the total annual export value x.
Step 2: Calculate the monthly average export value x̄ = total annual export value x / 12, and round the result to three decimal places.

For volatile export regions, all enterprises in the industry need to monitor local market conditions every month, understand changes in off-peak and peak seasons, and make substantial adjustments to their product production and export volumes.
