Initial dataset for the paper "Activity traps vs. hand netting: features of lentic macroinvertebrate sampling"

Source data for the article “Activity traps vs. hand netting: features of lentic macroinvertebrate sampling” by A. Prokin, D. Seleznev, and M. Mikhailova.
Samples were collected in 2025 in the Usman Pine Forest, Voronezh Oblast (Russia). Two temporary floodplain water bodies (“near” and “far”) were sampled four times (twice weekly) during the period from ice melt until they dried out. Six permanent water bodies were sampled once in summer.
In each water body, two microhabitats were examined (variable location): loc1 and loc2 in permanent water bodies, and center and shore in temporary ones.
