Pollen and macrofloral samples were collected from numerous features
and a single stratigraphic column at four sites in central Wyoming in an
effort to examine both the paleoenvironment and subsistence base at these
sites. Deposits at site 48NA920 were selected to be. sampled stratigraphically
for pollen to interpret the paleoenvironment. Four archaeological
sites were sampled for pollen and macrofloral remains during archaeological
testing in Natrona County, central Wyoming. These sites are located approximately
50 miles west of Casper, Wyoming in the vicinity of Hell's Half
Acre.
