Psuedomonas fluorescens sp. G7 is a bacterial isolate that from paddy soil. The strain can inhibit the growth of other soil bacterial isolates by secreting a novel antibiotic while in co-cultivation. In order to uncover the molecular basis of the production of the antibiotic and its possible responding mechanism, we sequenced the complete genome sequence of the bacteria with Hiseq and PacBio technologies.
