Sequencing of hypothalamus in rats

Elevated androgen levels during pregnancy, which affect offspring pubertal development, have become a common problem for women. The project aimed to clarify the possible mechanism by which affect the onset of puberty in female offspring rats after prenatal androgen exposure.Sixteen 8-week-old SPF healthy SD pregnant rats were randomly divided into a testosterone (TG) group or an olive oil (OOG) group. The female offspring of the TG group (PNA) and OOG group (VEH) were raised for 21 days (PND21) and then weaned. Six female offspring rats at PND21 (VEH:PNA=1:1) were randomly selected for transcriptome sequencing.
