The hydrological observation dataset of the lower Yigong Zangbo River primarily contains hourly monitoring data of water depth and water temperature in its lower reaches, with data collection completed in 2020. The data was acquired using a HOBO pressure-sensing water level gauge installed on the bedrock downstream of Yigong Lake. This HOBO gauge collects and stores data once per hour, and both the water depth and water temperature datasets are hourly averages. It is crucial to note that the initially measured water depth data is actually pressure-derived data; therefore, the local atmospheric pressure at the measurement site must be deducted during the conversion to actual water depth values. This dataset features reliable quality and high accuracy, and can be used to record the annual water level variations of the Yigong Zangbo River, ultimately achieving the goal of inverting the runoff process by focusing on key river channels.
