This metadata set describes the route network of DB Netz AG. The lines are mapped as the middle line between the two tracks in a position accuracy for navigation purposes (± 5 meters). In addition to the route network, the main types of buildings (tunnels, level crossings and bridges) are referenced as their own objects on the network. The operating points (stations, stops,...) are also part of the data records.
