资源简介:
Glucose plays a key role in shaping pancreatic à cell function. Thus, deciphering the mechanisms by which this nutrient stimulates à cells holds therapeutic promise for combating à cell failure in type 2 diabetes (T2D). à cells respond to hyperglycemia in part by rewiring their mRNA metabolism, yet the factors governing these changes remain poorly understood. Here, we interrogate the transcriptomes of control à cells and mutant à cells lacking the RNA binding protein PCBP incubated with low or high glucose for 72 hours. Overall design: RNASeq was performed in control and Pcbp2 null à cells exposed to low or high glucose for 72 hours.
