资源简介:

This publication examines the societal, neurocognitive, and educational implications of naming reality as an explicit argumentative instance. Building on the theoretical clarification introduced in "Functional Disproven and the Reality Argument: Closing a Gap in Argumentation Theory", this paper shifts the focus from theory to systemic impact. The central claim is that reality is not only the strongest mechanism of argumentative invalidation but also a stabilizing orientation system for human cognition. The predictive brain depends on reliable reality signals to reduce uncertainty, prevent overload, and maintain psychological resilience. When reality is missing as an explicit category in schooling, students become more vulnerable to stress, manipulation, and misaligned expectations. The paper outlines three domains where reality-based orientation is essential: 1. Neurocognition: Reality reduces cognitive load and supports stable predictive processing.2. Society: Reality functions as a protective factor against manipulation, polarization, and narrative distortion.3. Education: Schools must teach reality as an argumentative instance to strengthen critical thinking, media literacy, conflict resolution, and vocational orientation. A special emphasis is placed on vocational orientation, where the absence of real-world markers leads to expectation gaps, poor decision-making, and psychological strain. Integrating reality as a teachable instance provides clarity, self-efficacy, and resilience for young people navigating complex transitions. The publication offers a concise, internationally relevant argument for embedding reality-based reasoning into educational practice. It complements existing theoretical work while addressing the urgent need for stability and orientation in contemporary learning environments.
