FVG Habitats Charter of Community Interest — Poligoni

The information layer presents maps of the Habitats of the Sites of the "Natura 2000 Network for the Protection of Biodiversity" and other areas of the FVG Region. For most sites, each geometry is attributed to a "Habitat FVG", whose classification follows the "Manual of Habitats FVG", Poldini et al., 2006 and by correspondence, where it exists, to a habitat of Community interest or listed in Annex I to the Habitats Directive (92/43/EEC), for simplicity codified as "Habitat N2000". The reference for the classification of "Habitats N2000" is taken from "Manual of European Union Habitats -EUR 28. April 2013" and the related Italian interpretation manual (http://www.vnr.unipg.it/habitat/index.jsp). All maps present the possible attribution of geometries to "Habitat N2000", only in a few cases may not be present the attribution to "Habitat FVG”.
