Lactiplantibacillus plantarum genome sequencing

This study aims to obtain a high-quality complete genome assembly of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum D-10, a lactic acid bacterium isolated from kefir. The genome will be used to investigate its safety, probiotic properties, as well as the mechanisms of soymilk metabolism and characteristic flavor formation. The assembly was generated using a hybrid sequencing approach combining Illumina and ONT data to achieve high contiguity and accuracy.
