Isotopic constraints on active nitrification in a eutrophic artificially oxygenated lake: Implications for N regeneration and N2O production
收藏资源简介:
The provided files accompany the manuscript "Isotopic constraints on active nitrification in a eutrophic artificially oxygenated lake: Implications for N regeneration and N2O production" and include: Monitoring.xlsx: Water column data of temperature (°C) and concentrations of O2, NO3, and NH4 (in uM) over depth between January 2021 and March 2022 N2O.xlsx: Water column data of N2O concentrations (in nM), site preference (SP), bulk d15N and d18O (in ‰) over depth between May 2021 and March 2022. The N2O concentrations were used to calculate the community isotope effects using the Rayleigh plot. NO3&Rates.xlsx: Water column data of NO3 concentrations (in uM), N and O isotope ratios (d15N and d18O, in ‰), and isotope anomalies (D(15,18) in ‰) over depth between May 2021 and March 2022. The NO3 concentrations were used to calculate the community nitrogen and oxygen isotope effects using the Rayleigh plot. Additionally, nitrification rates over depth are reported for the same months, as quantified using the 15N tracer incubations. Calculations.xlsx: Comprehensive calculations of the mass balance approach used to estimate the role of nitrification in sustaining NO3 consumption via assimilatory/dissimilatory NO3 reduction.
