mRNA Sequencing Analysis of microglial efferocytosis of Apoptotic Oligodendrocytes

To investigate the mechanisms by which A2AR activation enhances microglial efferocytosis. Firstly, oligodendrocyte apoptosis was induced under oxygen-glucose deprivation conditions. Subsequently, the apoptotic oligodendrocytes were co-cultured with primary microglia for 8 hours, with the microglia pretreated with either vehicle or 300 nM CGS for 1 hour beforehand. After this period, non-phagocytosed apoptotic cells and the co-culture supernatant were discarded, and the microglia were collected for mRNA extraction. Following quality control and concentration measurement of the mRNA, mRNA sequencing analysis was conducted. The experimental groups were categorized as follows: Vehicle + ACs (microglia pretreated with DMSO) and CGS + ACs (microglia pretreated with CGS).
