Plant-soil moisture positive feedback maintaining alternative stable states in the alpine marsh ecosystem.

Our results extended the ASS theory in real-world ecosystems and provided the first empirical (large scale field data-based) evidence of multi-stability in alpine marshes on the eastern Tibetan Plateau. We proposed a plant-soil moisture positive feedback loop that may maintain multi-stability, from the perspective that plant communities alter the environment.
