This classification reflects the fate of a building work. The destination of a building is determined by the activities that will be carried out in it. It can be residential, when it is intended primarily for people to live in it; or non-residential. In the event that the work affects buildings with different destinations, the usual criterion to be followed in determining the main destination will be the surface area.
