SOUND VELOCITY and Other Data from FLETCHER from 19940101 to 19940630 (NCEI Accession 9400112)

The sound velocity data in this accession were collected from ship FLETCHER between January 1, 1994 and June 30, 1994 by US Navy. The sound velocity in water is analog profiles data that was recorded in stripcharts. Radio logs are forms that contain time, weather latitude/longitude, vessel id, ship id, etc. These are radioed every two hours to some military center. One line per strip chart. Some strip charts have time/date/ship id/latitude/longitude annotated on the strip chart. 101 sound velocity stripcharts and 41 radio logs were submitted to NODC by the US Navy, San Diego, CA.本次入藏的声速数据由美国海军（US Navy）于1994年1月1日至1994年6月30日期间，在弗莱彻号（FLETCHER）舰上采集。水中声速为以条带式记录仪记录的模拟剖面数据。无线电日志为包含时间、气象、纬度/经度、船舶标识、舰船编号等信息的表单，每两小时将被无线电传送至某军事中心。每张条带记录图纸对应一条数据行，部分条带记录图纸上标注有时间、日期、舰船编号、纬度及经度信息。由加利福尼亚州圣迭戈的美国海军向国家海洋数据中心（National Oceanographic Data Center, NODC）提交了101份声速条带记录图纸与41份无线电日志。
