Both Dom and Sub mice demonstrated markedly increased c-Jun (A: LSN, C: Cg) and EGR-1 (B: LSN, D: Cg) immunoreactivity following their respective social victory or defeat in the DSR test. IEG signal was markedly stronger among socially victorious Dom mice in the LSN (A: c-jun, B: EGR-1), while immunoreactivity in the Cg was more highly elevated among socially defeated Sub mice (C: c-jun, D: EGR-1).
