Data for: Divergent regulation of phosphorus availability by phoC- and phoD-harboring communities along a precipitation gradient in Tibetan alpine grasslands

This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Divergent regulation of phosphorus availability by phoC- and phoD-harboring communities along a precipitation gradient in Tibetan alpine grasslands”.The dataset contains field and laboratory data collected from 10 alpine grassland sites along a natural precipitation gradient on the Tibetan Plateau. It includes measurements of soil phosphorus fractions, acid and alkaline phosphatase activities, abundances of phoC and phoD genes, microbial community attributes, and associated soil environmental variables.These data were generated to investigate how precipitation regulates soil phosphorus transformation and availability through different microbial pathways under natural field conditions. The dataset can be used to support analyses of soil phosphorus cycling, microbial functional ecology, and hydroclimatic controls on belowground biogeochemical processes in alpine grasslands.
