Maps of chemical-physical properties – Percentage content of organic carbon in regional soils between 0-30 cm – third edition

The Charter of the percentage content of organic carbon in regional soils, with reference to the first 30 cm of soil, provides an estimate of the average percentage content of CO in a given territorial area due to the different soil types present therein. The representation of the territory takes place through a raster with pixels with a side of 100 m. Although the card is represented by classes, the information accessed, by querying the single cell, is related to the specific content of CO (expressed as % by weight). The value refers to the layer 0-30 cm and has been attributed to the cell through a geostatistic analysis in the plain and Digital Soil Mapping in the Apennines.
