supporting data for "Molecular epidemiology of coronaviruses and astroviruses in rodent populations in Hong Kong"

The dataset primarily focuses on PCR detection summary for astrovirus and coronavirus, NGS summary, and ELISA summary. A total of 890 rats were collected and analyzed using polymerase chain reaction amplification and Sanger sequencing and next-generation sequencing (NGS) to detect the presence of coronaviruses and astroviruses. The results revealed a 4.7% positivity rate for coronaviruses and a 1.75% positivity rate for astroviruses among the sampled rodents.
