Annual regional train station patronage (station entries) - historical

Total annual patronage (station entries) for Victorian regional train stations, to allow users to analyse Victorian regional train patronage by station, day type, time of day and total annual. \r\n\r\nData quality\r\n\r\nPatronage estimates are rounded to nearest 50 and values less than 50 are rounded up to 50. \r\n\r\nPatronage estimates for stations on the myki network are derived from myki ticketing data and factored up to account for the transaction rate. The transaction rate is determined by conductor counts and by barrier count data at gated stations.\r\n\r\nPatronage estimates for stations outside the myki network are derived from manual conductor counts. Accuracy of counts may be impacted by crowding levels and other issues.\r\n\r\nThe sum of station entries for all regional stations differs from total regional train patronage because station entries to board regional services at metropolitan train stations, apart from Southern Cross, are not included. \r\n\r\nStation entries for Southern Cross station only includes counts of passengers entering the gates to platforms 1 to 8, where regional train services depart. \r\n

数据质量
客流量估算值均四舍五入至最接近的50整数倍，小于50的数值将向上取整至50。

myki公交网络覆盖范围内车站的客流量估算值，基于myki票务数据推导得出，并结合交易率进行折算修正；交易率通过乘务员计数及闸机车站的闸机通行数据确定。

未纳入myki公交网络的车站，其客流量估算值基于人工乘务员计数得出；计数准确性或受客流拥挤程度及其他因素影响。

所有区域车站的进站人次总和与区域铁路总客流量存在偏差，原因是未计入除南十字（Southern Cross）车站外，其他大都会火车站内搭乘区域列车服务的进站人次。

南十字车站的进站人次仅统计进入1至8号站台（区域列车发车站台）闸机的乘客数量。
