Sensitivity, specificity and cross-reactivity of four different diagnostic tools.

The diagnostic performance of the tools B2t-, 2B2t- and hydatid fluid (HF)-ELISA, and a commercial indirect haemagglutination test (IHA), were compared using a panel of sera from cystic echinoccocosis (CE) patients, healthy donors and patients with other diseases (see below). The results are shown as the number of positive results against the different tools and the corresponding sensitivity, specificity and cross-reactivity for each group.
