Sign_Language_Dataset

This dataset contains a total of 1,770 images across 6 static hand gesture classes representing basic sign language gestures. The dataset is designed for image classification tasks in computer vision and deep learning.

The classes included in the dataset are: Yes, Thank You, I Love You, OK, Hello, and Peace. The distribution of images is as follows: Yes (250 images), Thank You (310 images), I Love You (250 images), OK (338 images), Hello (372 images), and Peace (250 images).

The images were collected using a smartphone camera under diverse real-world conditions. Variations include different hand positions (such as zoom in and zoom out), multiple backgrounds, varying lighting conditions, and participation from multiple individuals. These variations were intentionally included to improve the robustness and generalization capability of machine learning models trained on this dataset.

This dataset is suitable for applications such as hand gesture recognition, sign language recognition, and human-computer interaction systems.

本数据集总计收录1770张图像，涵盖6类静态手部手势类别，均为基础手语手势。本数据集专为计算机视觉（Computer Vision）与深度学习（Deep Learning）领域的图像分类任务打造。
