UK Met Office FOAM1 Analysis - Forcing dataset (for MARVL)

FOAM1-AN is an archive of data from the operational UKMet Office global ocean model, and includes daily analysis (representing daily means) fields of velocity, temperature, salinity, and sea-level on a 0.25 degree grid for the entire globe. FOAM1-AN data are archived from analyses that combine model fields with near-real-time observations.

This is purely a description of the forcing dataset used within the MARine Virtual Laboratory (MARVL).
