Most car loans originated in the United States in 2023 had a risk score of 760 and above. The value of auto loans that originated within that risk score category amounted to 252 billion U.S. dollars. Meanwhile, the value of auto loans that originated from the lowest risk score category - of 620 and less - was 107 billion U.S. dollars that year.
