Temperature profile and water depth data were collected using BT and XBT casts from the OCEANUS in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean. Data were collected from 29 September 1981 to 14 July 1982 by US Geological Survey in Woods Hole Oceanic Institution with support from the New England Shelf and Slope Program.本数据集涵盖温度剖面与水深数据，采集于西北大西洋海域，依托OCEANUS号科考船，通过BT（Bathythermograph，水温剖面仪）与XBT（Expendable Bathythermograph，投弃式水温剖面仪）的剖面测量获取。数据采集时段为1981年9月29日至1982年7月14日，由美国地质调查局（US Geological Survey）在伍兹霍尔海洋研究所（Woods Hole Oceanic Institution）开展相关工作，并得到新英格兰陆架与陆坡计划的支持。
