Yearly climate summaries for the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute's Physical Monitoring Program Bocas del Toro Research Station, located on San Juan Island in the Rep. of Panama.<br><br>This report summarises data for the Bocas del Toro Research Station. The station was established in 2002. Located near the western end of Isla Colon (9.351553°, -82.256565°); part of the Bocas del Toro Archipelago. The archipelago is a complex region of islands, mainland bays, rivers and forested mountain slopes on the Caribbean side of the Panamanian isthmus. <br><br>Summaries include the climate data collected from the meteorological station located on a platform located approximately 200m from the shore, as well as oceanographic data collected from numerous sampling sites located in the surrounding area.
