Taking the construction of digital ecological civilization as an opportunity, Wujiang District launched the "Taipu River Cloud Steward" system to comprehensively improve the management of the aquatic ecological environment of the Taipu River. The platform integrates multi-source data and enables real-time updates, addressing the problem of information asymmetry in water area management. By establishing five mechanisms: three-dimensional perception, active discovery, immediate response, collaborative linkage, and timely reporting, it realizes full-process closed-loop management and enhances governance efficiency. In addition, the platform applies AI and automation technologies, significantly reducing the workload of manual monitoring and alleviating the burden of grassroots staff. Meanwhile, round-the-clock monitoring fills the blind spots in patrols, remarkably improving the quality and efficiency of supervision. Since the launch of the system, it has monitored more than 35,000 ship passages, identified 176 violating ship passages, saved more than 90% of time costs, and promoted the integrated development of the ecological environment in the Yangtze River Delta.
