EvoRangeAge: A global database of species' evolutionary age, geographic range size, and ecological traits

The EvoRangeAge dataset includes data for over 26,000 species of birds, mammals, amphibians, reptiles, reef fish, and palms. For each species, we provide the geographic range size (extent of occurrence), evolutionary age (based on dated phylogenies), and additional ecological and biogeographic variables, including dispersal-related traits (e.g., body size, egg type, fruit size, flight ability, hand-wing index), generation time, island endemicity, and geographic region.
