Impact-echo data of B70 prestressed reinforced concrete sleepers excited with three different actuators
收藏资源简介:
Description of investigated samples: In the laboratory, six prestressed concrete sleepers of type B70 were investigated. Sleeper 02 and 03 were factory-new and produced by the same manufacturer in the same charge in 2023. Sleepers 07 to 10 have been in service for several years in the German railway system in the region of Thuringia, Germany. During routine track renewal, the sleepers were dismantled and stacked on each other next to the track and last there for several years. For non-destructive testing, the sleepers were transported to BAM. All four sleepers show several severe cracks, especially around the sleeper heads. Description of data collection: The surface acceleration due to different impact-echo actuations was measured. Measurements were performed in a 5 cm grid along the centre line of the sleeper top surface. Three different types of actuators were used. The spatial distance along the centre line between the accelerometer and the actuator was always 5 cm. The raw data are analogue time signals in Volt recorded by the accelerometer. The cracks were catalogued in the same 5 cm spacing for the top and all lateral surfaces. The data were collected in an Excel-file. The visual inspection of all sleepers was performed by the same person to maintain comparability between different sleepers.
