Digital Readiness Index (DRI) Dataset: Optimizing ICT4Ag Intervention Strategies in Puntland, Somalia

Major updates are reorganized the master repository into raw data, processed data, and documentation subfolders. Included mandatory README.md, survey instrument, participant info sheet, and ethical approval (CU-CIARI-IRC-2026-009). Standardized keywords for improved indexing. This dataset provides the empirical foundation for assessing the digital preparedness of smallholder farmers in the Bari and Nugal regions of Puntland, Somalia. It includes raw survey responses (N=110) and a processed analytical dataset used to construct the Digital Readiness Index (DRI). The DRI aggregates three key pillars: Hardware Agency (device ownership), Usage Efficiency (transition from awareness to implementation), and Support Synergy (perceived effectiveness of extension services). This data supports the associated manuscript "Assessing Digital Readiness for Agricultural Technology Adoption" by identifying spatial disparities and "Usage Gaps" in ICT4Ag tools.
