资源简介:
Datasets used to generate modeled and field estimates of carbon fluxes at the FOREST site and adjacent grassland plots in Gaithersburg, Maryland at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. FIeld datasets includes light response curves for canopy edge trees and grassland plots, tree stem respiration measurements at FOREST site, soil respiration measurements in grassland plots, tree DBH survey in FOREST site, and coarse woody debris survey in FOREST site. Model code and sample driver datasets are included for the modified version of the Urban-VPRM model. Output files from the VPRM for the grassland plots and region around NIST forest site are included, as well as, extracted ACES data for the study area. These model scripts, driver datasets, model outputs, subset ACES dataset, and field datasets are used for findings presented in manuscript titled ‘Quantification of urban forest and grassland carbon fluxes using bottom-up measurements and a satellite-based model in Washington DC/Baltimore area”, by Joy B. Winbourne, I.A. Smith, H. Stoynova, C. Kohler, C.K. Gately, B.A. Logan, J. Reblin, A. Reinmann, D.W. Allen, and L.R. Hutyra and submitted to Journal of Geophysical Research – Biogeosciences in July 2021.
