Supplementary data for article: "Human precision-cut intestinal slices as a new model for testing induction potency of drugs influencing the gene, protein or activity of P-glycoprotein (ABCB1)." In figure S1 is presented effect of increasing concentrations of rifampicin (RIF) on P-glycoprotein (ABCB1) mRNA levels in human precision-cut intestinal slices (hPCIS). Figure S2 contains information about quenching effect of RIF on the fluorescence of rhodamine123 in acetonitrile:water solution (2:1). Figure S3 and S4 present information about ABCB1 and Cytochrome P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) mRNA levels, respectively, over the course of 48 hours incubation in control and RIF-treated hPCIS. Last figure S5 demonstrates pregnane X receptor (PXR) (A) and retinoid X receptor alpha (RXRA) (B) mRNA levels over the course of 48 hours incubation in control hPCIS.
