Mice deficient for IL-17RA are more likely to develop lymphoid follicles and gastric cancer and express higher levels of many genes associated with inflammation and cancer in response to H. pylori infection InsGAS mice and InsGAS mice with IL17RA deficiency were infected with H. pylori strain PMSS1 for 3 months. Gastric tissue was processed for histology, colonization and RNA extraction. Extracted RNA was processed at the VANTAGE CORE (VUMC) for gene expression analysis using nanostring's nCounter IO 360 mouse panel. Data was analyzed on the ROSALIND cloud analysis and visualization software.
