SubQuaia

SubQuaia is a subcatalog derived from the original Quaia catalog, obtained after a data cleaning process designed to filter out sources with catastrophic relative errors in their spectrophotometric redshifts. The procedure used to construct this catalog is described in detail in the associated thesis work (link coming soon). As in the original catalog, SubQuaia includes files corresponding to two versions of the catalog, each with a different magnitude limit: one sample with G < 20.5 and another with G < 20.0. In this cleaned version, the G < 20.5 sample contains 793,862 sources (compared to 1,295,502 in the original catalog), while the G < 20.0 sample contains 507,868 sources (compared to 755,850 in the original).
