Digital Archive from a Magnetometer Survey at Friendship Farm, Holt, Wiltshire, December 2024

This collection comprises raw magnetometry data, greyscale images of processed magnetometry data and a CAD drawing from a geophysical survey at Friendship Farm, Holt, Wiltshire. Work was carried out by Archaeological Surveys Ltd in December 2024. The results of the detailed magnetometry revealed a number of archaeological features, including several associated with a low, circular mound recorded as a potential Bronze Age round barrow. Two further positive curvilinear anomalies are located to the north of it and appear consistent with the morphology of former round barrow ring ditches. There is, however, truncation by later features with enclosures, trackways, linear ditches and pits associated with settlement, possibly from the late prehistoric and Romano-British periods, extending from west to east across central part of the site.
