WaTER: Wavelet Transform for Estimating Rainfall

Wavelet Transform for Estimating Rainfall (WaTER) is a public domain program to estimate rainfall from NDVI and to correct TRMM using Wavelet Multi-Resolution Analysis. WaTER has two modules: Rainfall estimation and TRMM correction. Rainfall Estimation module reconstructs daily rainfall from decadal NDVI and daily gauged rainfall. TRMM Correction improves daily TRMM rainfall based on daily gauged rainfall.
