data of the 34 patients with mushroom poisoning-induced hepatic failure admitted to the Emergency Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University between January 2008 and December 2018.

This data included the patients' age, sex, onset days, hospitalization days, peak levels of aspartate aminotransferase (ASTmax) and alanine aminotransferase (ALTmax), peak levels of total bilirubin (TBILmax) and the days of occurrence, peak prothrombin time (PTmax), peak international normalized ratio (INRmax), peak plasma ammonia (NH3max), peak creatinine (Cremax), minimum levels of total protein (TPmin), minimum levels of hemoglobin (Hbmin), and minimum levels of platelets (PLTmin). Additionally, the number of times each patient underwent blood perfusion, plasma exchange, continuous venovenous hemofiltration, whether mechanical ventilation was required, and the staging of hepatic encephalopathy were recorded.
