FRDC Deep reefs BRUVS data, Australia (2014 - 2015)

This study surveyed fish communities associated with two large patches of coastal reef that had been mapped previously using high-resolution multibeam acoustics. The reefs at Butlers Point and the Friars, located on the east and south coasts of Tasmania, are the focus of important commercial and recreational fisheries. The surveys utilised underwater video methods, including baited remote underwater video (BRUV) and remotely operated vehicle (ROV), as well as gillnets. Patterns in community composition, interactions between species and relationships with reef characteristics were described using multivariate statistical analyses. This information was assessed for its utility to develop predictive distribution and abundance maps of key species. 本研究针对两处此前已通过高分辨率多波束声学技术完成测绘的大型近岸礁关联鱼类群落开展了调查。位于塔斯马尼亚东海岸与南海岸的巴特勒角（Butlers Point）及修士礁群（The Friars）周边的礁体，是重要商业渔业与休闲渔业的重点作业区域。本次调查采用水下视频调查手段，包括诱饵式远程水下视频（baited remote underwater video, BRUV）系统、遥控水下机器人（remotely operated vehicle, ROV），同时辅以刺网采样。研究通过多元统计分析方法，对鱼类群落组成模式、物种间相互作用以及物种与礁体特征间的关联进行了系统分析阐述。本研究对该调查数据的应用价值进行了评估，以构建关键物种的预测性分布与丰度分布图。本研究所用元数据与数据集均取自GlobalArchive平台（https://globalarchive.org/geodata/data/project/get/133），数据获取时间为2021年8月31日。
