The spreadsheet is the appendix from the study by Riedesel et al. 2023 and contains the sections: The table lists: the designation of Soil Climate Regions (SCR) with SCR number and SCR name in English and original German SCR name (Table A) the variance of the basic model from equation 3, the variance of every single weather index (WI) model from equation 1 and the respective variance reduction (VR) from equation 2. (Table B) all covariates that were tested, the respective model variances with the covariate under investigation, the VR due to the incoorporation of the covariate compared to the variance of the baseline model from equation 3 and the variance inflation factor (VIF) (Table C) the model output of equation 1 including parameters, estimates, standard errors, degrees of freedom (df), t values and p values for each WI (Tables D-U) the minimal data set explaining the results displayed in Fig. 5-7 of the PLOS ONE manuscript and lists the parameters mean winter wheat yield, WI occurrence, estimated coefficient, p value, WI yield effect for each WI observed per municipality over the period 1995-2019.(Table V)
