The land types are classified into secondary categories including: paddy field, dry land, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glacier and snow land, tidal flat, beach land, urban land, rural settlements, other construction land, sand land, gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Among them, cultivated land is divided into paddy fields and dry lands in mountainous, hilly and plain areas, as well as areas with slopes greater than 25 degrees, based on landforms. The data scale is 1:100,000.
